Sancha & Craig were married at Dunnottar Castle, just two miles south of Stonehaven. An absolutely breathtaking venue that I haven’t been to before but I would go again to at any time! Sancha & Craig’s wedding was organised beautifully by “Highland Country Weddings” who I have to say just put that extra wee bit of effort in to make the day special! On hand for Sancha & Craig and the rest of the wedding party was Jackie Goode from “HCW” who managed to bring along some smoked salmon, champagne, strawberries and nibbles……….what more could you have asked for in a romantic castle setting? The ceremony was conducted by Cressida Coates who made the couple very relaxed and I have to say that it was conducted superbly, very romantic and emotional. The weather could have been kinder, although in between the showers torrential downpours, we had glorious sunshine which gave us the chance of getting some wonderful photographs that I’m sure everyone will have very happy memories of. Sancha and Craig live in Australia and although Sancha is originally from England, they were heading back to Australia the following day. it was a small wedding party of 8 people but I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day. Sancha was stunning in her dress and Craig sported his kilt with pride. Both Sancha and Craig were great fun and we had a laugh taking some “fun” shots and of course the obligitory “formal” shots too. After the ceremony we headed to Raemoir House Hotel in Banchory, where all the staff were superb and made us feel very welcome indeed (thank you for the pot of tea – greatly appreciated) and the House and beautifully manicured gardens made a fantastic back drop for the photographs. We did the cake cutting and I have to say that Fiona from “Cakes by Fiona” made a fantastic job of it and in a very Scottish theme! A big thank you to all involved in making Sancha & Craig’s day go so well, a safe journey home to you, your family and friends and hope to hear from Sancha & Craig soon. Enjoy the slide show!
