Karen & Mark

Sunday, May 31st, 2009

Karen & Mark had a beautiful day for their wedding at St Mary’s Church Dalmahoy on Sunday 24th May 2009.
Their wedding was attended by over 100 guests. After the ceremony the couple and their guests were greeted at Dalmahoy Country Club by Claire Adams who I have to say did an excellent job in organising the whole event with the Bride and Groom. I have to say a big thank you to Claire who made my job much easier. If you are thinking of getting married in the Edinburgh area, please don’t hesitate to contact Claire and please take a look around the Dalmahoy estate.
The weather could not have been better for photographs, we spent the afternoon taking group shots and relaxed shots while the couple met their guests and enjoyed their day.
Karen and Mark, we enjoyed the day too, so thank you all for making it such a fantstic day.

June & Edward were married at Balgonie Castle in Fife on the 21st May 2009. They were married in the beautiful small chapel attached to the Castle which was perfect.
The Laird and his Piper were present at the ceremony which just added to the ocassion.
Photographs were then taken in the Grounds with the Laird and his Piper making themselves available for photographs with the Bridal Party.
We then moved on to Balbirnie House for a Champagne reception and the Wedding Breakfast.
In the grounds of Balbirnie House we managed to get some wonderful photographs in the grounds.
June & Edward, thank you again for making us part of your big day.1june-edward-086

Emma & Brian

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

Emma & Brian were married on Saturday 9th May at Aberdalgie Church in Perthshire, the rain unfortunately couldn’t have come down any harder, but this didn’t stop us all from thoroughly enjoying the whole day. Beautiful vintage cars brought the Bride and her bridal party to the church. We then moved on to Murrayshall House Hotel and Golf Courses, Scone, Perth, unfortunately, the weather didn’t let us use the beautiful grounds for photos, but we managed to get some excellent shots indoors.
Emma & Brian, Thank you for a wonderful day.

Gale & Brian were married at Fullarton Parish Church in Irvine, Ayrshire and then had photographs and their wedding Breakfast at Highgrove House near Loans. From there we went to The Menzies Hotel, Irvine for their evening function whioch was attended by over 120 guests. During the time for photographs we were very lucky that the rain was kind enough to stop – which makes my life much easier!

Can I just say that the disco and the band were fantastic, extremely friendly and both sounded brilliant – no wonder the guests were on their feet at all times, so if you are looking for a disco or band take a look at Funky Broadways web site and speak to Jim Marshall about his SunsetDisco who can do everything from Disco to Ceilidh’s! A great bunch of people.
Gale & Brian, a big thank you to you both for using Wedding Photos Edinburgh.
